This is not a downside or bad game design, but it was because of my poor wirebug usage. I often found myself doing a wirebug attack, then immediately needing a wirebug, but i just used them all. As a mechanic, managing wirebugs is essential, as they are tied to offensive and defensive options. Wirebugs are a really fun addition that are very well designed and implemented. each of the 14 weapons plays different and there is something for every play style. The armor and weapon design are very anime esc, which can be a positive or a negative. The end game is good, but can become a grind if you want to have the best sets and weapons. The game is tons of fun and has massive replay ability because every fight is different.
